The short version
I only collect the information I need to respond to you and photograph your wedding. I don't sell your data to anyone. Your wedding photographs are stored securely and only shared within the remit of what you've agreed to when booking.
If you'd like me to delete any information I hold about you, email and I'll do so within 30 days.
What I collect, and why
When you fill in the contact form
- Your name, email, phone number, partner's name, event venue, date and any details you choose to share.
- I use this only to reply to you and arrange your booking.
When you book a wedding
- Your full booking details, signed agreement, and timeline / family information for your day.
- This is kept for as long as I'm contractually obliged to (currently seven years for tax purposes) and to support you with your photographs, prints and albums after the wedding.
Your wedding photographs — backed up multiple times for safety
- Your private online gallery is password-protected and available for one year (extendable for a small annual fee).
Sharing your photographs publicly
By default I may feature wedding photographs on my blog, portfolio and supplier pages to show prospective couples real weddings at real venues. If you'd prefer to keep your photographs completely private, just let me know — a private wedding photography agreement can be arranged before booking, and your photographs will never appear on my website, blog or any other platform without your explicit permission.
Cookies
This website uses minimal cookies. I don't run third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
- Essential cookies: needed for the site to function — for example remembering whether you've dismissed a notice. No personal information.
- Analytics: aggregated, anonymous data about which pages get visited, so I can keep the site useful. Easily disabled in your browser if you'd prefer.
- Form anti-spam: Google reCAPTCHA on the contact form to keep the inbox clear of robots. Subject to Google's privacy policy.
Third parties I use
To run the business I rely on a handful of well-known service providers:
- Netlify — website hosting.
- VSCO Workspace — contact form processing.
- Pic-Time — your private online gallery delivery.
- Google Workspace — email.
Each is GDPR-compliant. None receive your data for advertising purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete the information I hold about you, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email me at .
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
I'll update this page if anything changes. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version.
